This is an original handmade tanjore art depicting the scene of a divine marriage of Lord Shrinivasa and Padmavathi. He holds the hands of bride Padmavathi, the daughter of the King Akasha Raja, standing in the middle. BesideS the bride, stands Vakula devi, mother of Shrinivasa. The Divine couple is surrounded by Lord Shiva and Parvati with their sons Ganesha and Muruga. Also by Lord Brahma and Saraswati, sage Naradha, Lord Kubera and Garuda. This holy ritual is performed by the great sage Vashista doing the homam.
