Overview:
Learn a heritage folk art of India. Tanjore painting goes back to 5000 years old and is from state of Tamilnadu, India. This is a very rare art form which is not easily found today. It uses 24 carat gold foil, precious and semi- precious stones.
The artist cum teacher is a very experienced person. Her name is Bharathi Balaji. Has been teaching for a few years. She lives in Chennai, India.

Waterproof plywood-6mm or 8mm, thick cotton cloth (gada cloth), Fevicol, Sandpaper or Emery sheet for smoothening the board, Design for tracing, yellow carbon paper, Chalk powder, Arabic gum,square stones-8mm or 6mm, round stones 6mm, 4mm ,3mm, Thick plastic sheet or empty milk cover for making cone, Needle (big) to remove foil paper,Gold foil book, Poster colors set

Process:
You will be making a complete Tanjore painting in as many weeks required. The fees for the course is charged on a monthly basis. In a month, there will be 4 live classes, one class a week for 1 hour. Teacher will be giving feedback and taking questions/doubts from the students.
